What is the Islamic School of the ICOLC?

The Islamic school is a Weekend program specially designed to instill the Islamic behaviors and manners in our youth while teaching them the basics of Islam. The Islamic School is located in the building of the Islamic Center of Las Cruces.

What we teach:

The Quran and Sunnah are the fundamental essences of Islam. They represent who we are and what we believe in. They govern the way we live and interact with each other. The Islamic school of ICOLC aims to present Islam and it's concepts by teaching our kids the Quran and Sunnah of Muhammad (PBUH).

Kids enrolled in the Islamic school will be reciting, understanding, and memorizing the Quran. They will also learn about the life of the prophet Muhammad and all those prophets before him.

Through such a program, The Islamic Center aims to help children become proud, practicing Muslims.
