Question:

"To
whom it may concern: Can you please give me a breif
discription of how women are treated like in islam?" Answer: "Dear
J.V. Greetings from Islamicity's Imam. Women in Islam are
treated with utmost respect and have many rights. It is
important that you differentiate between the way Muslim
women are treated in Islam versus how some of them are
treated in the Muslim world. Sometimes, pre-Islamic culture
and traditions prevail and misconception is built upon
appearances. Women in Islam have the right to be educated,
to work, and to participate in all activities in the society
that preserve their sanctity and protection. Women also have
a very special status in Islam, as mothers and wives, and
their husbands have to provide them with all of the
necessities of life and to treat them with gentleness." For
